A couple of times a year, I pack up my camera and my tent, and travel abroad to explore new landscapes. In recent years I have hiked across the Canary Islands, and various mountain ranges throughout the Alps, some of these hikes totaling hundreds of kilometers. Each hikes comes with its own set of challenges, whether it’s the weather, terrain, navigation, or the wildlife, but the reward is always worth the effort.
